Djvi — VA Mesothelioma & Asbestos Benefits Guide (https://djvi.djvishwajeet.in/) is an independent, non-government, education-only website. We publish plain-English guides to VA disability, healthcare, and survivor benefits for U.S. veterans and families affected by mesothelioma and asbestos exposure. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions about anything on this page can be sent to support@djvi.djvishwajeet.in.
Information We Collect
This site has no user accounts and no registration. You can read every guide without creating a profile or submitting any personal details. The limited information that does reach us arrives in three ways:
- Email you send us. If you contact support@djvi.djvishwajeet.in, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply and handle your request.
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting server automatically records standard technical data: your IP address, browser type and user agent, the pages you visited, and the date and time of each request. Logs are used for security, troubleshooting, and aggregate traffic statistics, and are retained only for a limited period before being routinely deleted or overwritten.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Analytics and advertising partners may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser when you visit, as described below and in our Cookie Policy.
Advertising and Cookies
This site is monetized with Google AdSense display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website and/or other websites on the Internet.
Google’s use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick/Google ad cookie) enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising:
- Visit Google Ads Settings to opt out of Google’s use of cookies for personalized advertising.
- Visit www.aboutads.info/choices to opt out of many third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising.
- Read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services for a full explanation of Google’s data practices on partner sites like this one.
Third-Party Ad Networks
Other third-party ad networks certified by Google may also serve ads on this site and may use their own cookies to do so. We do not control these third-party cookies and this Privacy Policy does not cover their practices. You can find a list of Google-certified ad networks and opt out of many of their cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
Consent
For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, personalized ads are served only where required consent has been given; where consent is declined, non-personalized ads may be shown instead. Visitors elsewhere can still opt out of personalized advertising at any time using the links above.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you (for most readers this is limited to email correspondence and short-lived server logs) by writing to support@djvi.djvishwajeet.in.
- EEA/UK visitors (GDPR-style rights): where applicable law provides them, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal bases for the limited processing we do are legitimate interests (site security and operation), consent (personalized advertising where required), and performance of your request (replying to your email).
- California residents (CCPA): you have the right to know what personal information is collected about you and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, email support@djvi.djvishwajeet.in; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Children’s Privacy
This site provides information about VA benefits for adult veterans and their families and is not directed at children under 13. Consistent with COPPA, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact support@djvi.djvishwajeet.in and we will delete it.
Analytics
We review aggregate traffic statistics — such as which guides are read most — using server-side stats and, if enabled, Google Analytics. Analytics data is used only to understand overall readership and improve our content, never to identify individual readers. If Google Analytics is active, its cookies are covered by the Google links above and by our Cookie Policy.
Data Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted. We keep the personal data we hold to a minimum, and we limit access to email correspondence to the editorial team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but the small amount of data involved keeps risk low.
Links to Other Websites
Our guides link to third-party websites, including official government sites such as VA.gov. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any external site. Review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when advertising or analytics tools change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated whenever we do, and material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
